Getting Inspiration from Mother Nature and the Nature within
CHAÉ LOOKS
I LIKE IT, I WEAR IT.
My special Outfits, for special Events
Today, I'm telling the story in how I put this outfit together.
This time it was for a special occasion. My husband picked up a dress for me to attend Church for Easter Sunday. I loved the dress but I needed to personalize it to my liking so I started by creating a belt for it and this is the journey
Creating the idea for the belt
In my way to shop materials for the belt
This is the day I'm heading to the store, I don't know what I could find but I chose to create a belt for that dress to offer it to my Lord on Easter Sunday, let's see what happens!
I saw many materials and I almost don't pick up anything! but when I was ready to leave the store, something told me "with some many materials and you won't be able to make a belt?", So I went back to the store and found these products.
The process of making the belt
This is a great time to create and to relax from the constant scrolling and the fighting against the machine through social media. In here, I'm doing something I like by putting my ideas together in silence, in my room, and in my own space. You can do this too and work in anything you want to do by detaching from the public stress like social media, don't you?
Trying the belt for the first time
Here, I am trying the belt for the first time, the buckle is just about to be place but I wanted to make sure it fits in the right place, you know, I did not wanted too tight or too loose
I'm laying out the belt with the details I chose to put on it in its basic form to continue constructing the idea and how it would look like on the dress
Having an idea in how the belt is coming along
THE DRESS!
So, this is the dress, for me, it's just simply beautiful!
I thought it deserved a nice belt to go with it. My husband picked it up for me and got an emerald green belt but I chose to create one on my own, most likely to relax myself doing the project lol!
The idea is taking place!
I was considering to add a pop of color on the dress just to make it more exciting to wear it. These blue flowers I actually got them for another project I'm working on and I was considering but...I don't know, what do you think?
The Hat!
Here I'm in the store looking for hats to go with the outfit. I particularly loved this one, however, I thought it was too large to go to Church and I didn't want to call too much attention by wearing it.

I chose this one along with a flower but little bigger to personalize my hat for the event
First trying out belt, dress, hat
This is my first time trying out the outfit to see how is it going. I feel comfortable and at ease wearing the dress along with the rest of the elements to complete the project. I introduced it to my family to have a feedback and I think they liked it, including Raggy, the dog. Lol!
Final Cut, and the outfit is done!
And here is the outfit. I am very pleased in how my outfit came out. It looks nice, feminine, soft to the skin, elegant and just my style. I have a wonderful time attending church wearing this dress and I received a lot of compliments. The most important thing is that I spent a #calm, #relaxing and very #productive time doing this project after work and in my spare time, rather that scrolling on the phone and waisting my time on social media.
The Final Outfit from another angle
We are READY to go!
I really loved the way the entire outfit came out. I loved how it fix my body and I feel BEAUTIFUL! lol.
My beloved warriors, we are ready to go to Church and praise the Most High on Easter Sunday Resurrection of JesusChrist Dominus! Thank you for being with me in this project and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Remmber to keep #living, #loving and #celebrating life. God is good.

Artdeko in action!
Another dress, another story for CHAÉ's upcoming project

CHAÉ wants the peaceful sounds of her music to be reflected in her outfits showing a fresh, unique and inspirational art to express soften sounds through palette colors, flowers, simplicity but yet powerful message of love and peace to her audience.
Every outfit has a significance and a meaning that represents CHAE's roots & culture of where she is coming from. As an example, this outfit was exclusively made for CHAE to represent her country Colombia at the NYC Multicultural Festival with her emblematic song Colombianos
This specific outfit represents the CHAÉ's resiliency and her warrior strength when speaking out about her struggles and survival as a woman, AfroLatina artist in her hometown in SouthAmerica with her song My name is CHAÉ

CHAÉ's authenticity serves as inspiration for her designer Artdeko to create the perfect piece that represents the artist's theme and intention. In this piece for the song Bumange, Artdeko understands the fire, the boldness and the beaty of this woman to bring acknowledgement of the presence of AfroColombians and the diaspora
CHAÉ GETS INSPIRED IN NATURE
Getting inspiration in mother nature is the new theme of CHAÉ and her designer in which her Art is best expressed in simplicity and unique color presence of the artist. Rather than falling onto the everybody's course of artistical expression, CHAÉ opted to get inspiration from authenticity in Nature embellish with the inspiration she gets from flowers, sun, rain, moon, night and the beauty of the natural environment to support her artistic self expression and professional growth.
CHAÉ has captured the magic of nature and expressed in her new Album called Sounds of Peace touching her fans' heart with the heartfelt two released track: "Saying Goodbye" and "Simon" available on all platforms
